This is the inaugural volume of my latest series - Deep as Dark. Pure deep, funky and dark house that will have you wondering why mainstream pop? This is definitely meant for the darker side of your mood, maybe sounds for a late night excursion in your car, motorbike or even bicycle? Moonlight beach walk or hanging with friends at 1AM, it's all good. Make sure you listen to Ewan Pearson's remix of Spiders. It is a stomping classic!

Happy New Year!

So, back from a trip to Oz in December and have been inspired by the country that is home to my heart. The episode contains a mix of tracks that defined my trip as well as tracks from Australian DJ/Producers that are currently doing great things for music in Oz.

The episode starts off deep, then cranks into a mix of electro, progressive and tech house. In addition, I have added a track from a 22 year old young bloke that is doing big things in Europe. He is known as TyDi, and is one of the rising stars of the trance scene. Other Aussie DJ's include Sam La More, Bass Kleph and Dirty South.

Also, if you are patient enough, I have included a bonus track that I came across in 2009 whilst house boating in Canada. The track is from an Australian group called "The Herd". One of my favourites for 2009.

So, it's been a few months since my last posting and what a summer it has been!

In September the crew from [R]evolve Events hosted a White Party at SeVen Restolounge in downtown Calgary, and what a bangin' night it was! Thanks to those that attended and danced into the wee hours of the morning and also a big cheers to the folks at Seven - you guys were such gracious hosts and also know how to party!

For those of you that couldn't attend and hear the fusion of fresh, funky house beats that were cranked out by DJ DLite and myself, no worries! I have condensed my two hour set to an hour of select tunes that will be sure to get you groovin' and give you a flavour for what was served up on the night.
